My loathing of fake plants is well documented on this blog, but I’ll make an exception for this wreath of artificial flowers.
It’s distinctly un-Christmassy, un-seasonal and, goddamit, un-British. But after some dark days of non-stop rain we need a bit of colour, and for that I salute whoever created it.
I’m not keen on plastic flowers either, but I can live with this! Looks like a rare sunny day too
